Carter County Museum is open year round Tuesday through Sunday. They are closed on Monday's and all legal holidays.
Summer Schedule - April 1 through Labor Day: Tuesday-Friday 9 am - 5 pm; Saturday and Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm.
Winter schedule - September through March 31: Tuesday-Friday 9 am - Noon and 1 pm - 5 pm; Saturday and Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm.
Admission to the Museum is free.
They are located within the town of Ekalaka, nestled in the Southeast corner of Montana at the junction of Montana Highway 7 and Montana Highway 323; just 36 miles south of Baker on Montana Highway 7; and 72 miles north of Alzada on Montana Highway 323.
